I got it on a recent trip there. The Bead are natural Turquoise stone beads.
Most Tibetan Turquoise these days is stabilized ( Acrylic Resin ) so it is possibly stabilized for durability.
No real chips or damage ( a few natural or minor pits in some of the stones )
